I am very interested in connecting my third grade students with students across the globe. I think children really engage in learning when they can share it with others! How awesome would it be if we could connect on Today's Meet and allow them to share experiences from their classroom? I have found it to be challenging to navigate times and schedules when trying to Skype, but Today's Meet does not have to be a live discussion. It could be like a museum gallery of classroom adventures guided by us, the teachers! I know my students would enjoy "meeting" children from other places. If you are interested in connecting your students, please leave a comment.

I think this a great idea and worth testing out. I'll be interested to hear how it works and what kind of activities you design to use today's meet.
I know that there are some other great social networks for educators including http://www.classroom20.com/ where I know people who have connected with each other in the past to do similar projects.
You might check it out!
