Creating a 21st Century Lab School within the independent school setting

I'm super interested in starting a 21st century lab school within an independent school setting.  My team has been building a model over the past year and I think that we are ready to launch, now we need a venue and we are hoping to imbed within the independent school where we are currently practicing.  While I know that this presents a challenge, I'm curious as to any other experiences or connections related to lab schools situated within the independent school context so that we can build more momentum.  It is my thought that this sort of progressive model is rarely if ever paired with independent schools and that most commonly lab schools are always situated with Universities.  I would appreciate any feedback or leads that may help fuel this discussion thread to connect me with existing programs that have a similar context.  #21stlabschool
