I teach World Religions (my school's ninth-grade History course), and am looking to partner, via technology, with another group of students studying similar material. For example, our students could share interpretations of a Biblical passage and/or Historical event through a shared online forum.
Please let me know if you or a colleague might be interested.
I saw your post. I was Interim Director of Interschool last year and have been working with Cathy Cramer this year on FDS. Anyway, in my other life I work at National Association of Episcopal Schools. I am happy to see if one of our schools would be interested. I also encourage you to contact Stephen Arbrogast at Trinity School who teaches religion and moderates an informal group of US religion teachers from NYC independent schools that meets periodically. Finally, you might want to go to the ning below. It brings together teachers of world religions centered out of the Pluralism Project at Harvard which focuses on religious diversity in America. It's a nice lens through which to consider world relgions, especially if you are in the history department. Anway, woudl love to talk if that woudl be of help. My office number is 212-716-6307. I am at NAES about 2-3 days a week. -- Ann Mellow

What do we need to do in order to better equip our students to become true leaders in a "flat world" that has both exciting opportunities and challenges at every turn?
