Training faculty on Moodle

We just started using Moodle this year for basic content management. Can anyone suggest some resources for good faculty training?

If you have a subscription to Atomic Learning (atomiclearning.com -- worth looking into if you don't), you will find 264 SHORT movie demos on how to do just about everything in Moodle. Great for self-guided tech training or as a resource for teachers after instruction (when they've forgotten how to do what they learned previously!).

We have a Moodle support class for our teachers in Moodle. Below are SOME of the general resources we provide. Our Moodle support class set up with a topic section for each Moodle tool. If you have any more questions, let us know. We have had a great experience with Moodle and are using it more all the time!

Lynda.com has some great training videos on Moodle v1.9 covering all aspects. It might be worth getting a one-month subscription ($25) to show some of the videos to faculty or let them use the account on their own time.

OK. Full disclosure here. Though I am the Tech Director at Whitfield, I also work with Educational Collaborators. That being said, Randy Orwin also works with Educational Collaborators and is an INCREDIBLE Moodle trainer. My teachers love him! He does Moodle training all over the world. He's very practical and creative.
