Lenovo X200 Tablet
Is anyone using the X200 Tablet from Lenovo? What kind of battery life are you getting? They say the design improvements get them 10.2 hours. Have anyone verified that in the field?

We just got our demo unit from them last week. It is in our 8th Grade Math/Science teachers hands. Will check with him and report back

Funny you should ask. We got our X200s for faculty last week and the battery is only lasting about 4-4.5 hours with our image - only slightly longer straight from the factory. They do not offer the additional slice battery that was available with other tablets - we have used that in the past when batteries were only documented at about 6 hours. Our sales rep has assigned it as a critical situation and is coming tomorrow to take a look. We are pretty worried about it.

The battery that is giving you 4.5 hours. Is this a 6 cell or 9 cell battery?

9 cell. Lenovo has acknowledged that this is an issue and are hoping to come up with a slice of some kind in the future. Doesn't help much now but we are moving ahead because the other features of the machine are what we want.
