Since I was a student (at the school where I am working now) I've wanted to start a school from scratch based on teaching methods, subject matter and philosophies I find valuable. I know, easier said than done, but I'm intrigued by the idea and interested in conversations happening in the New Schools group. I'm quite happy in my current position but new school ideas are fun to explore...
Hey Alex...yes, remember back in medieval days when you and presented at the first WH UC? You should come to Boston this summer....the UCs have really grown in number of participants and value of content. Hope to see you...btw, we recently got another online donation from one of your (challenged) alums!!
Hi Elizabeth -- good to see you here. I was cleaning out a book shelf today and realized the last WH conference I was at was 2004. Boy does time fly. Looks like things are going really well from that last post. Congrats!
You wrote me two months ago and I am just now responding....very bad! We have not been using any SN tools but attended Travis W's session at CASE and think we'll now start a facebook page. Park School and Proctor A. are doing it with some success.
it's nice to see a communications director here, given the nature of this medium :) Do you use any social networking tools with your constituencies yet? (I know some schools are using facebook to form school-sponsored alumni groups).
