Power Outlets in classrooms

We are building a new high school and are currently looking at locations of power outlets in our classrooms and conference rooms.  Our general plan is for classrooms with students sitting around a large table, as opposed to rows of desks.  I am asking for our architect to put power outlets in the floors, centrally located, of the classrooms, but I am getting a lot of push back.  The architect is recommending wall locations with retractable extension cords or power-pedestals on wheels.As you all…See More
