Great Kids Websites

I wanted to let everyone know I keep a list of hundreds (and hundreds) of websites I use in my tech classroom. They're organized by grade and topic, so you can find what you need. Sometimes, I let the kids browse for a website I've forgotten about. The Talking Dog is quite popular.

Enjoy! Let me know if you have any favorites I can add.

Good Teaching

The school in which I am the new Head as of this July went through considerable turmoil last year, as sometimes happens. Part of the upheaval included the departure of a science teacher who was very popular with most students. His replacement found herself with limited equipment and only a couple of lesson plans, one of which was for K-2 students to draw a picture of a scientist.  Not surprisingly, most of them drew the departed teacher.  A couple of weeks ago, in the remarkable science room… Continue

What happened to capitalism and what happened to communism?

At first we thought it would be a luxury hotel. Then someone said it was going to be a winery still others said a display home. Whatever was going up at such a rapid rate was looking quite interesting. It was going to be kind of French as there is a large development going on across the street called ‘Chateau de Bourdeux’. By the large scale developer Haichang Land Limited. They were over in Paris at a wine festival…
