Not sure if they are emperor penguins. The penguin just happens to be our school mascot and I am fond of them . I am really looking forward to being a part of some of the groups on this Ning...especially the diversity one. Thanks for having me. Regards, Kate Meyer
I joined Norwood's team in August of this year, so all of the links between RE and EE already existed by the time I got here. I run a weekly sync process that updates any address changes, etc. There have been a few times that I've had to break links (we've come across some duplicates), but that's about as deep as I've gone into the integration between the two db's.
Good to see you on here - I've heard a lot of great things about you.
This picture was taken in Chaco Canyon, New Mexico. Each year as part of our annual experiential trip with our school, I take a group of middle school and high school students for 4 days of hiking, exploring ruins and camping. More information here: http://rememberit.org/Chaco.aspx
Hi Demetri. I am trying to update my email address but it says it's already registered. How do I permanently delete it from one account so I can add it to another? I accidently created two accounts.
This vid is one of my faves. I use it when my physics classes study free fall, fluid friction and terminal velocity. I've found dozens of nice, short, free videos that clearly illustrate science concepts on Youtube.
Hi Demetri: I am having a technical probelm...I created my isenet account with one email address (amellow@interschool.org) at which I will no longer work...in the meantime, I joined another ning group using my new email address (ann@episcopalschools.org). When I tried to change my isenet email address to ann@episcopalschools.org, it says that it is "taken" -- because, as it turns out, you cannot have two different email addresses in ning. SO. When I log into isenet as "ann@episcopalschools.org" it wants to to create a new profile, as if I do not exist...and then there will be two of me! Can/should I just delete my old profile and start again ? TIdeas? Thanks!
Hi Demetri, thanks for the comment! The Squam Lake Science Center is great and I went to Marlborough Elementary, very close to where it looks like you started your career in Temple.
Looks like you are up to some interesting work in TN.
Good to hear from you, Demetri. Yeah, Pass the Pigs is always a big hit :) Will you be around in August? I'll be working with Ensworth school August 10 and 11 on some Global Education stuff and I wonder if I could come visit that Monday? Would like to see your new setup, to catch up...I know you're super busy so if that time won't work, let me know.
Thanks! I'm the Director of Technology at the Whitby School, a K-8 Montessori/IBO school in Greenwich, CT. I'm looking forward to sharing in this fantastic forum.

Hi Demetri,
I will really enjoy the tech retreat this year. I retired from the committee at the end of last year but remeber all the hard work that goes into it and can't wait to go to it.
Cheers, Roya
Hi Demetri,
Yup, this year's AIMS Tech Retreat is at St Michael's, and am delighted to get your referral to bring kayaks (though not sure if we'll actually bring ours along). Thanks for adding the link to the 2008 handouts.
Cheers, Laurie
I would love to comment on both the tenets and skills. We have just reworked the documents (not yet updated on the website) and our Board will vote on Monday to ratify. I' ll write more about them after the meeting.
I am glad to be here.

Glad you've moved it to a better neighborhood. The new 'hood is very slow though.
