This video is by four guys who want to build a better facebook- one that is built to embrace sharing and privacy in a non-commercial platform. I like this quote: "Sharing is a human value." These guys are setting out to overcome what one of them says is his mother's approach to the web, which is that "I wouldn't post anything online that I wouldn't mind if it showed up in my local newspaper." They want to build a social-network that is user-owned instead of being owned by a larger entity (e.g. facebook). I actually just donated a buck to back their cause on their kickstarter page.
